Why did you choose your DJ name ?
Cash Bailey was a villain from an old action film I watched a lot as a kid.. Loved that name all my life and needed a DJ name at short notice, and now here we are..
DJ Biography / overview / Bit about yourself and how you got into Djing and where you have played:
Been into jungle since 1994 and then dnb.. Always LOVED the music and been part of the scene, going out etc, but only started mixing late.. Hit it hard though past couple of years or so and got a few decent shouts on sets people have caught.. Played live at CODE in Manchester with Loxy and Antagonist lat year and set to play out again with Overlook and Blood Trust next month..
What or who are your influences to play what you play?
Back in the day wise, Kenny Ken, Randall and Andy C were big influences.. Clever inventive sets with nice long blends at the heart of it all.. Later on Marcus Intalex, Loxy, Mantra, Gremlinz, Overlook, Forest Drive West.. Same again really, all very inventive in the mix and manage to work rough and smooth nicely..
