DJ Biography / overview / Bit about yourself and how you got into Djing and where you have played:

I first started buying 12" records around 2000-01 as a lot of music I liked (DnB) was not available on CD. As my collection grew I used some of my student loan to buy a basic turntable and mixer setup. Over time I moved onto CD decks and eventually controllers, but have kept my vinyl which I still play to this day, albeit on a much nicer setup! Digital DJing allowed me to broaden my mixing into other styles including house, garage, old skool jungle and breakbeat.

What or who are your influences to play what you play?

When I started DJing my inspiration came from DnB legends including Andy C, DJ Hype, and Mampi Swift.

Since joining Energy 1058 I have found a love for the old skool sounds of hardcore breaks and jungle, inspired by the knowledge of my fellow DJs.

What other intrests or hobbies do you have apart from Energy1058?

DJing is my main creative output, but I also enjoy watching sport and playing videogames when I have the chance.
